The film – two years in the making – is the documentary telling of the life of the British Parliamentarian who abolished the slave trade.

The story is narrated by renown Shakespearean actor, Avery Brooks, and was shot on location throughout the United Kingdom. 1. I was in Washington D.C. on October 6th for Stand in the Gap. They showed the trailer for “The Better Hour” to a few thousand men. As soon as it came on, I was hooked. I recognized Avery Brooks’ voice right away and the music was extremely epic and compelling. I am eagerly awaiting it’s release in 2008. I hope and pray that when it is screened at the White House, hearts will be moved to action to help put an end to modern day slavery – human trafficking – in all its forms – on every continent… in every country.
