Jesus Loves Porn Stars
Those wacky guys at XXXchurch are at it again. They started by handing out Bibles at major porn conventions nationwide, and offering porn stars a way out of the industry. Now, Time Magazine reports they’ve enlisted NavPress to publish a special edition New Testament with “Jesus Loves Porn Stars” on the cover. Craig Gross and Mike Foster – co-founders of XXXchurch were turned down by the American Bible Society, but NavPress is happy to use “The Message” Bible translation for the project.
The XXXChurch guys may have discovered the most effective way to reach the pornography industy. These cutting edge ministries are difficult and often criticized, but considering the growing power and influence of the porn business in America, someone like this needs to be out there trying to make an impact.
