A Look at Turkish TV Reveals a Lot About Islamists

  1. The problem with Marvin Olasky's analysis is that he doesn't seem to realize that Turkey is sharply divided into two parts. One part is very secular and generally live a European lifestyle. The other part is religious and they do not appreciate the skin shown on TV or in newspaper racks any more than most conservative American Christians. The religious people are the ones upset with American influences, not the secular ones! This sharp divide is part of the reason for the election problems that they're having right now.
