Engaging Culture

William Wilberforce, Amazing Grace, and Abolishing the Slave Trade

I had the opportunity tonight to speak at the Centurion’s Conference sponsored by Prison Fellowship and the Wilberforce Forum. Founded by Chuck Colson, the vision is teaching the role of faith, social justice, and engaging the culture with a message of hope. Walden Media was there showing a clip and discussing their new feature film “Amazing Grace” which is the dramatic story of William Wilberforce. I was there as well to show a clip of our high definition documentary feature on his life and work, called “The Better Hour.”
We’ve been shooting over the last year, have a few more weeks of shooting, and are in the early stages of editing what will be a feature documentary that’s at least 60-90 minutes in length, ready for a September release. I’ll keep you posted on our documentary project, but Amazing Grace should be hitting the box office by the end of February, so plan on seeing that film.
