The ministry has now been included in the lawsuit: http://newsok.com/article/3167529

...and Lindsay Roberts. Swails, one of the professors suing, also wants his job back as chaiman of the department, benefits and back pay: http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/article.aspx?articleID=071110 ...

This is the 4th version of the lawsuit, in a month, which now has a new version of the story with new things added and things removed (ex. paper shredding of evidence).

Should we start speculating who could be added to the 5th version?

I expect the dogs to be named in the 5th version of the lawsuit.

All comedy aside, I actually think this is an interesting development. They are trying to make the point that there is a blurred line between ORU and the Oral Roberts Ministry, and I think that's true. Much of ORU's funding comes from the ministry, and the question becomes, who carries or is responsible for the debt? I've always felt that blurred line causes branding problems for the university, so this could actually spur the board of regents to make a solid breech that would create two separate identities.

In Chapel Wed. Oral told everyone that if the Ministry is split from the university the death of ORU would happen within a year. However, I dont know if they will have a choice in the matter.

Phil, I think you should contact ORU's BOR to see if you can help them with PR & branding....they sure need it!

I wonder if there's a special place in hell reserved for "shepherds" like Richard Roberts.
