BMCBMCThe Biola Media Conference is back - and this year it's at CBS Studios. The conference had been temporarily postponed for 2008 because the Cinema and Media Arts Department at Biola University is building a new state of the art production facility on campus. The fundraising and planning for that facility will be a huge effort. But the leadership and planning committee behind the event have confirmed it's back on the schedule. The event has become the largest conference in the world for Christians in the secular entertainment industry is back on for 2008. And what's even more exciting is that the location will be the backlot at CBS Studios in Studio City, California. The date is May 3rd, so put it on your calendar and check the website from time to time. The BMC website isn't updated yet, but keep checking. For the time being, you can download this preliminary poster and And while you're at it, send a generous check to the Cinema and Media Arts Department at Biola University to help with the new media production facility. They're training a new generation of Christian media professionals, and they deserve our support. If you know of a major corporate donor, I understand there are naming rights available for the studios, edit rooms, and more. So big gifts are welcome... :-)

Take this image of the poster and promote the event on your blogs.  It's a really important conference and I'd love to get the word out...

This is excellent news. I attended last year's conference and it was a wonderful time. I found the workshops extremely informative and enjoyed the networking and fellowship and the conference has led to new, ongoing relationships. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it!
